Responsibilities
- Process and maintain departmental records, permits, and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for department meetings and events
- Assist with data entry and report generation using municipal software systems
- Support inventory management for office supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Adhere to all city policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with government or public sector operations a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
