Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with 100% accuracy
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain confidential records
- Coordinate correspondence with veterans and internal stakeholders
- Support scheduling and calendar management for department staff
- Assist with data entry and report generation using VA systems
- Handle routine inquiries following federal protocols
- Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Basic knowledge of veteran services preferred
- Experience with federal documentation systems a plus
