Responsibilities
- Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of the federal office, ensuring a productive and organized work environment.
- HR Administration: Assist in the recruitment process, onboarding, and personnel record management in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and monitor budgets, process travel vouchers, and manage purchase orders.
- Records Management: Implement and maintain filing systems and records retention schedules for compliance.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate high-level meetings, conferences, and events for agency leadership.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding administrative inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; OR a combination of education and specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level.
- Experience: At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-9 level performing administrative functions such as budget execution, human resources support, or office management.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal HR/payroll software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and ensure accuracy in financial and personnel documentation.
