Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative workflows including scheduling, correspondence, and record management
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and maintain confidential files
- Process financial transactions and maintain budget tracking systems
- Support veterans and staff with inquiries regarding programs and services
- Prepare reports and briefings for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies
- Train and mentor junior administrative staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes and records management
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
