Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veterans' benefit applications and documentation
- Provide administrative support to senior staff including scheduling and correspondence
- Manage digital filing systems and ensure compliance with federal record-keeping standards
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and basic analysis of veteran service metrics
- Coordinate office operations and support cross-functional team projects
- Respond to routine inquiries from veterans and stakeholders via phone/email
- Support outreach initiatives for veteran services and community partnerships
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college coursework (or equivalent combination)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must pass federal background check and security clearance process
