Responsibilities
- Process and verify citizen service requests with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate departmental communications across multiple state agencies
- Manage digital records and documentation in compliance with state protocols
- Support public-facing operations at our downtown Detroit service center
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for assigned programs
- Conduct data analysis and generate performance reports for leadership
- Facilitate cross-departmental meetings and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government databases
- Ability to pass Level 1 background check and fingerprinting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if field travel required)
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Experience with FOIA requests and public records management
