Responsibilities
- Process and prioritize high-volume permit applications for transportation infrastructure projects
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and documentation workflows
- Manage digital records and ensure compliance with state data retention policies
- Support public inquiries regarding transportation projects with accurate information
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for assigned projects
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence for department leadership
- Facilitate vendor contracts and procurement processes in accordance with state regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage complex documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Washington State procurement processes preferred
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to pass required background checks
