Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to agency executives including scheduling, correspondence, and record management
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and meetings with government officials and stakeholders
- Manage confidential documents and ensure compliance with federal record-keeping regulations
- Process personnel actions, procurement requests, and budget documentation following DC government protocols
- Support grant administration and reporting for federally funded programs
- Utilize DC government IT systems including DCAS and HRConnect for daily operations
- Prepare briefing materials and reports for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance within 30 days
- Knowledge of DC government procurement procedures and HR processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- US citizenship required for government clearance eligibility
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
