Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain compliance with federal record-keeping standards
- Coordinate scheduling for 15+ staff members using Outlook
- Respond to constituent inquiries via phone and email within 24 hours
- Assist with quarterly reporting and data analysis using Excel
- Support veteran outreach events 2-3 times monthly
- Maintain confidential files following HIPAA and VA protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with organizational abilities
- Experience with government databases preferred
- Flexible availability (20-25 hours/week)
