Responsibilities
- Manage official correspondence and maintain digital filing systems
- Coordinate departmental meetings and prepare detailed agendas
- Process payroll and expense reports with weekly submission deadlines
- Act as primary liaison between constituents and agency leadership
- Support grant application processes and compliance documentation
- Conduct data analysis using Excel and reporting tools
- Train new staff on administrative protocols and systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years in administrative or government support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government reporting systems
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with DC government procurement processes preferred
- Valid driver's license required for occasional off-site duties
