Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and record maintenance
- Process veteran benefits paperwork with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate multi-departmental meetings and events
- Maintain confidential personnel and medical records in compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize VA systems (VISTA, CPRS) for data entry and reporting
- Provide frontline customer service to veterans and their families
- Assist in onboarding new temporary staff
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience in a federal or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA background clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with electronic health records systems preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
