Responsibilities
- Develop ethical guidelines for AI deployment in healthcare, transportation, and defense sectors
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness in autonomous systems
- Design policy frameworks for quantum-AI integration and neuro-ethical boundaries
- Present regulatory recommendations to congressional tech committees and industry coalitions
- Author thought leadership papers on AI governance for Nature Ethics and IEEE Spectrum
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices using cutting-edge simulators
- Monitor emerging neuro-technological advances and update ethical protocols quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, or Juris Doctor with AI specialization
- 5+ years experience in AI governance or tech policy with federal/multinational exposure
- Deep understanding of quantum computing implications for ethical AI development
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or neuro-ethics in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Proficiency in AI ethics auditing tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies or international ethics committees
