Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the official records of the City Council and various boards and commissions.
- Prepare, post, and distribute agendas and minutes for meetings in strict compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
- Receive, process, and archive all official correspondence, resolutions, and ordinances.
- Assist the City Manager and Council Members with administrative functions and special projects.
- Ensure accurate filing and retrieval of public records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in municipal administration, records management, or a related clerical role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with record management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional documents.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a high degree of attention to detail.
