Responsibilities
- Maintain and preserve official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes
- Process public records requests with precision and compliance
- Manage city council agendas, scheduling, and documentation
- Oversee municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Administer oaths of office and notary services
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and document flow
- Ensure compliance with state and local record-keeping regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Expert knowledge of Kentucky Open Records Act and Sunshine Laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines
