Responsibilities
- Manage and archive official city documents, ensuring proper indexing and accessibility.
- Assist the public with requests for records, permits, and certifications with professionalism.
- Ensure strict compliance with all city, state, and federal data privacy regulations.
- Process incoming applications, correspondence, and legal documents efficiently.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical databases for all municipal records.
- Coordinate with other city departments to facilitate inter-agency information sharing.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and official correspondence.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in records management, office administration, or government service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and records management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
