Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Administer oaths of office and public notary services for municipal officials
- Oversee election processes including voter registration and ballot coordination
- Provide public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate city council meetings, agendas, and public hearing logistics
- Maintain municipal code updates and historical archives
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or public sector experience
- Ohio Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in records management systems and document retention policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government software platforms
- Strong knowledge of Ohio Sunshine Laws and municipal governance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and public service orientation
