Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, ordinances, and meeting documentation with precision
- Oversee public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Administer oaths of office and notarization services
- Prepare and maintain official city documents and legislative histories
- Facilitate inter-departmental communications and public inquiries
- Implement digital records management systems for enhanced accessibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years municipal government or records management experience
- Expertise in Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 61A (Open Records Act)
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities
