Responsibilities
- Maintain and certify official city council minutes, ordinances, and resolutions
- Oversee public record management, FOIA requests, and document retention policies
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Provide legislative support to city council members and committees
- Manage city clerk office operations and supervise staff
- Coordinate public records access and ensure compliance with state statutes
- Prepare official notices, agendas, and public hearing documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Knowledge of Oklahoma state statutes and municipal governance procedures
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems and document imaging
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
