- Manage public records requests and ensure timely, lawful document disclosure
- Facilitate City Council meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking
- Administer oaths and notary public services for official documents
- Develop records retention policies and implement digital archiving systems
- Advise elected officials on procedural compliance and legal requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Colorado Municipal League (CML) certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Thorough knowledge of Colorado Open Records Act and Sunshine Laws
- Exceptional written communication and legal drafting abilities
- Professional notary public commission in good standing
