Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome visitors and answer inquiries regarding driver’s license renewals, vehicle titles, and tax payments in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process Transactions: Accurately process DMV applications, payments, and documentation using state-specific software systems.
- Resolve Issues: Listen actively to customer concerns and troubleshoot problems to find effective solutions, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain Records: Ensure all customer data and transaction records are updated accurately and confidentially in compliance with state regulations.
- Provide Guidance: Educate customers on applicable laws, fees, and procedures to help them navigate the system independently.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new computer applications quickly.
- Details: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy when processing sensitive information.
