Responsibilities
- Maintain and certify official city records, ordinances, and resolutions
- Manage public records requests with strict adherence to Kentucky Open Records Law
- Oversee city elections and voter registration processes
- Prepare and distribute official meeting minutes and agendas
- Coordinate with city departments to ensure legislative compliance
- Serve as the primary liaison for public inquiries regarding city procedures
- Implement digital record management systems for enhanced accessibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency with records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Deep knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes and open records laws
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
