Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, documents, and digital archives with precision
- Provide exceptional administrative support to city council meetings, hearings, and public forums
- Process and coordinate public records requests in compliance with state regulations
- Prepare and distribute official notices, agendas, and correspondence for city departments
- Assist with voter registration initiatives and election coordination duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline departmental workflows
- Ensure compliance with municipal codes, record retention policies, and FOIA requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in Public Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of administrative/clerical experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and records retention software
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public-facing interactions
- Working knowledge of Colorado Sunshine Laws and municipal record-keeping standards
- Ability to obtain Notary Public certification within 6 months of hire
