Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, permits, and documentation with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process citizen requests, applications, and correspondence across multiple departments
- Coordinate public meetings and hearings, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and minute-taking
- Utilize municipal software systems for data entry, record retrieval, and report generation
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, businesses, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with budget tracking, procurement documentation, and financial record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with local ordinances, state regulations, and federal requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience in a government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records under pressure
