Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, documents, and archives ensuring compliance with retention policies
- Process and maintain accurate minutes for City Council meetings and public hearings
- Coordinate public records requests and provide responsive information services
- Support election administration and voter registration initiatives
- Assist with permits, licensing, and municipal licensing applications
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and administrative workflows
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and public notices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative/clerical experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong knowledge of California Public Records Act and municipal regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license required
