Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official city records, permits, and documentation with precision
- Process citizen requests, applications, and correspondence according to municipal protocols
- Provide administrative support to multiple city departments, including scheduling and meeting coordination
- Ensure compliance with record retention policies and state/federal regulations
- Assist in preparing reports, agendas, and official communications for city officials
- Manage filing systems, both physical and digital, with meticulous attention to detail
- Support election processes and voter registration activities as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or college coursework preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience in a government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
