Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules with professionalism
- Conduct security rounds and inspections to ensure compliance
- Respond to emergencies and incidents swiftly and effectively
- Document all incidents and maintain accurate records
- Supervise inmate movements and recreational activities
- Collaborate with team members to maintain facility security
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Physical fitness for security duties
- Ability to pass background check and medical evaluation
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
