Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls and incidents in the CAD system.
- Provide critical information to responding officers and citizens during crises.
- Monitor radio frequencies for suspicious activity and unit status.
- Collaborate with other agencies to coordinate multi-agency responses.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35-40 words per minute.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under extreme pressure.
