Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations to maintain security and order
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance rounds using advanced monitoring systems
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, medical incidents, and security breaches
- Document incidents and maintain accurate logs and reports in compliance with state protocols
- Screen visitors, mail, and packages to prevent contraband introduction
- Participate in inmate rehabilitation programs and crisis intervention efforts
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Physical fitness to meet defensive tactics and restraint certification requirements
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and surveillance systems
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Previous security or law enforcement experience highly valued
- Must be 21 years of age or older
