Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during night shifts
- Conduct regular security rounds and headcounts to ensure compliance
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
- Ensure perimeter security and control access points
- Supervise inmate work programs and recreational activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (college degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean criminal record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
