Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security patrols and surveillance operations at federal facilities
- Monitor access control systems and respond to security breaches with precision
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments for leadership review
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during emergency protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security regulations (FIPS, NISPOM)
- Train junior staff on security procedures and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a federal security clearance
- Minimum 3 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid New York State driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
