Responsibilities
- Monitor the daily activities of inmates within the facility to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular cell searches, headcounts, and perimeter patrols during the night shift.
- Enforce facility rules, regulations, and policies consistently and fairly.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, disturbances, or medical incidents.
- Document incidents accurately in shift logs and reports.
- Supervise inmate work details and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and a valid driverβs license are required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, medical exam, and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
