Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols 24/7 on weekends
- Conduct security inspections and maintain accurate documentation
- Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts professionally
- Escort inmates throughout the facility and during transports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Utilize surveillance systems to maintain constant vigilance
- Participate in regular training drills and safety exercises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
