Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Process inmate admissions and releases
- Prepare detailed incident reports
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness test
- Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency
