Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain security protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and perimeters
- Enforce institutional rules and respond to incidents
- Document incidents and maintain accurate records
- Escort inmates within the facility and during transfers
- Provide emergency response and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with law enforcement and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Physical fitness to handle security duties
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Previous security or military experience preferred
