Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmates in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct regular security checks and facility inspections
- Process inmate intake and release procedures accurately
- Respond to emergencies and maintain order within detention areas
- Document incidents and maintain detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during transfers
- Implement rehabilitation programs as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to obtain Arizona Corrections Officer certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays reliably
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods
