Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Implement cybersecurity protocols for county networks and cloud services
- Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for county ERP systems
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
- Coordinate hardware/software upgrades across county facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years Windows Server administration experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud services preferred
- Texas driver's license required for county travel
- Ability to obtain Texas government security clearance
