Responsibilities
- Process and maintain confidential court records, documents, and case files with exceptional accuracy
- Provide in-person and telephonic support to attorneys, litigants, and the public regarding court procedures
- Manage court calendars, schedule hearings, and coordinate judicial assignments
- Collect, record, and reconcile court fees, fines, and payments using financial systems
- Prepare official court orders, summonses, and notices while ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Operate case management software and maintain digital databases for real-time record access
- Assist judges and court staff with administrative tasks during proceedings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or Paralegal Studies preferred
- Minimum 2 years clerical experience in legal, government, or judicial settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court record management systems
- Deep understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and confidentiality protocols
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public and professional interactions
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and ability to pass federal background check
