Responsibilities
- Process court filings, maintain digital records, and ensure document accuracy
- Assist attorneys, litigants, and the public with case inquiries and procedures
- Manage courtroom scheduling and coordinate with judges/judicial staff
- Prepare official transcripts and maintain confidential case files
- Handle financial transactions including fees, fines, and bond payments
- Provide procedural guidance to court visitors and resolve routine inquiries
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on case documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years of administrative or legal office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court record systems
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings/weekends
- Tennessee Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
