Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to USPS regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and customer interaction points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service disruptions
- Safeguard mail security and confidentiality protocols
- Operate handheld scanning devices for package tracking
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for digital systems
- Reliable transportation to designated facility
