Responsibilities
- Manage Inquiries: Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in visitors regarding pension plans, retirement eligibility, and employee benefits.
- Customer Support: Assist retirees and employees in navigating the pension application process and resolving account discrepancies.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and confidential records in our database, ensuring all pension documentation is processed correctly.
- Office Administration: Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and preparing correspondence.
- Process Documentation: Review incoming applications for completeness and route them to the appropriate department for further processing.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email) is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to the public.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
