Responsibilities
- Respond to Inquiries: Handle a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and in-person requests from the public regarding health services, licensing, and program eligibility.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex issues or escalations efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
- Data Management: Accurately enter and update customer information into our secure database systems, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including IT and Program Management, to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of interactions and resolutions in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, public administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive government data.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
