Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal networks using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and implement incident response plans for cyber-attacks
- Collaborate with federal agencies to share threat intelligence and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports and brief senior leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- Proficiency with Splunk, ArcSight, or similar SIEM platforms
- Clearance eligibility (ability to obtain Secret/Top Secret clearance)
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
