Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for federal networks
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Lead incident response coordination during cybersecurity breaches
- Develop and enforce security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Mentor junior security personnel and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expert knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST frameworks
- Proven experience with SIEM tools and threat detection platforms
- Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Strong analytical skills and crisis management experience
