Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures using NIST frameworks
- Lead incident response coordination for cyber threats affecting critical federal systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on classified networks
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Collaborate with US-CERT and other federal cybersecurity entities
- Maintain compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and CUI regulations
- Generate comprehensive security reporting for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security operations
- GIAC GCIH or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in Splunk, ArcSight, or SIEM platforms
- Knowledge of CMMC and NIST SP 800-53 controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
