Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure network infrastructure including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to prevent unauthorized access
- Provide technical support for classified systems and data encryption
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and compliance initiatives
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Stay current with evolving cyber threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret security clearance (required for application)
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or cybersecurity
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with NIST and FISMA compliance standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance post-hire
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
