Responsibilities
- Safeguard classified and unclassified networks against cyber threats
- Implement and maintain security protocols for DoD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents and forensic investigations
- Develop security awareness training for personnel
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years cybersecurity experience
- Active Security+ CE certification
- DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture
- Experience with incident response protocols
