Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for security breaches
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect anomalous activity
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards
- Prepare detailed cyber threat intelligence reports for leadership
- Lead security awareness training programs for military personnel
- Manage identity and access control systems across classified networks
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security compliance (NIST, FISMA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Proficiency in Splunk, ArcSight, or equivalent SIEM platforms
- Experience with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) implementation
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
