Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and mitigate advanced cyber threats across DoD networks
- Implement and maintain security protocols for classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on military infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and lead cybersecurity breach investigations
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DOD directives
- Mentor junior cybersecurity personnel
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level cybersecurity
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of DOD RMF and NIST frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
