Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols for classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and lead cyber threat mitigation efforts
- Coordinate with federal agencies (FBI, NSA, DoD) on joint security operations
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
- Monitor network traffic using advanced SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Ensure adherence to NIST, FISMA, and DHS cybersecurity frameworks
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity with federal/government sector
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, encryption, and threat detection systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
- Strong analytical skills and crisis management experience
