Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats across federal networks using SIEM platforms
- Implement NIST/FISMA-compliant security controls and incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD systems
- Develop security documentation including RMF packages and POA&Ms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on zero-trust architecture implementation
- Respond to security incidents with rapid containment and remediation
- Maintain TS/SCI security clearance eligibility
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (immediate requirement)
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (CompTIA)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Experience with RMF and NIST 800-53 frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike
